Former Nigerian Presidents Buhari and Jonathan Attend National Assembly Meeting at the Presidential Villa
In a significant gathering at the Presidential Villa, former Nigerian Presidents Muhammadu Buhari and Goodluck Jonathan were present for a meeting of state legislators. The meeting also saw the attendance of other notable figures, including former Presidents Abdulsalami Abubakar and Yakubu Gowon. However, former President Olusegun Obasanjo, who led the country from 1999 to 2007, was absent at the time of this report.
The meeting's agenda focused on the critical challenges facing Nigeria, particularly the rising cost of living, security concerns, and the deteriorating economy. The assembly aims to gather insights and solutions from all sectors to address these pressing issues.
This marks the first National Assembly meeting organized by President Tinubu since he assumed office in 2023.
